Barry Blaxberg is a founding member of the firm and represents financial institutions, corporate clients and business owners, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, banking, real estate transactions and litigation, landlord and tenant law, condominium law and receiverships.
Mr. Blaxberg graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College, magna cum laude, in 1974. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law in 1977. Mr. Blaxberg practiced in Miami as a partner at a large firm until 1985 when he departed to fulfill the goal of establishing a boutique law firm specializing in commercial and real estate matters.
Mr. Blaxberg has been a member of the Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and is a member of the Florida Bar Real Estate and Debtor/Creditor Law Committee. He also served for eight years as Councilman and Vice Mayor for the Village of Pinecrest, Florida.
Mr. Blaxberg is an active residential and commercial real estate investor and has engaged in all associated activities of construction, financing, leasing and similar activities for many years. His extensive experience in legal matters is matched by practical, pragmatic and real life experience and success in business which is readily applied to the needs and concerns of his clients.
