Ian J. Kukoff

Ian Kukoff is a Partner of the firm and represents financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, commercial landlords, and business owners, concentrating his practice on commercial litigation, creditors' rights, fraudulent conveyance and preferential transfer litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, commercial landlord tenant litigation and intellectual property litigation.

Mr. Kukoff graduated with a Bachelor of Accountacy from George Washington University in 1985. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law in 1988, where he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. Mr. Kukoff began his legal career in Dallas, Texas with the law firm of Moore & Peterson, where he participated and assisted in handling various matters involving real estate transactions, construction law, foreclosures, corporate matters and workouts. In 1989, Mr. Kukoff returned to Miami, where he grew up, and began to focus his practice on litigation.

Mr. Kukoff co-authored "Mortgage Foreclosures," Seminar, Foreclosure and Reposession in Florida, sponsored by Loman Business Center, Inc., 1989, and authored "When a Tenant files for Bankruptcy During Eviction," Commercial and Residential Evictions in Florida: How To Do Them Right, Seminar, sponsored by Sterling Education Services, LLC, 2002.
